Let me tell you a story about two guys living in New York. A tale as old as time:

Matthew Malin
Through the 90’s, Matthew worked with huge brands such as Saks, Barneys and Kiehls as a cosmetic buyer and sales developer. From here he moved to Parda and looking after the licensing of fragrances. After the dawn of the millennium, 2002, Malin began work on a business plan for a sensitive skin care line. After suffering from rosacea, eczema and other sensitive skin issues, he felt it was time to produce something that worked for him

Andrew Goetz
Before sitting down and helping write our the business plan with Matthew, Goetz was the Managing Director for Vitra, a Swiss-based design manufacturing company. Searching high and low for standout designers and architects to join the Vitra brand, Goetz’s eye for detail and design blossomed.

Now mix these two together; add 13 years onto the production and what you have is a skin & hair care range, a perfumery and a line of apothecary tools that hold design, rather high. Oh, and they make candles as well, which are equally awesome.
