The perfect Sunday in Sydney

Sundays are sacred. They are that one day a week we hold dear to our hearts. It’s the day we want to make the most of and spend well before the gloom of impending Monday dawns upon us. Even better, imagine waking up at QT Sydney in a sink-in gel bed surrounded by state-of-the-art furnishings in a beautifully appointed room. Sound like your kind of day? We’ve put together a few insider tidbits on how we like to spend the perfect Sunday in winter.

Rise and shine (at your own leisure, of course) in one of QT’s signature gel beds that hugs your body ever-so-sweetly with its cloud-like cocoon. There is no rush to seize the day first thing on a Sunday, but you also don’t want to waste too much time lazing around. If you’re impartial to a little breaky in bed, be sure to peruse the in-room dining breakfast list and pick from taste-tempers like a fruit plate or swoon-worthy patisserie items.

While you wait for your breakfast, lap up the luxury in one of our luxe baths or rainwater showers and really set the tone for those sumptuous Sunday feels. We’re all about decadence, so post-shower wrap yourself up in a fluffy robe and jump back into bed to eat your breakfast.

If you’re planning the perfect Sunday, booking a tantalising treatment at spaQ, one of Sydney’s most lauded spa retreats, is a must. SpaQ embodies all that is opulent and lush, with an array of treatments on offer, including facials, massage, couples retreats and everything in between. Fellas, if your ‘do is in need of some TLC, opt for a trim or shave at the Barber Shop next door – real gentlemen look no further than the Mr Bond experience.

Before heading out into the cold weather, prep with a warming tea or coffee from our much-loved, romantic Parisienne-inspired Parlour Lane Roasters.

Spenders beware – most of Sydney’s best fashion boutiques and shopping hot spots are right on our doorstep, so kick start your Sunday activities with a spot of shopping at nearby David Jones or Westfield, or hit up the high-end boutiques such as Louis Vuitton or Hermes, which are both dangerously close.

Sydney’s CBD is brimming with various activities to allow a fabulous winter Sunday and ensure your Monday blues are kept at bay.
