MCA ARTBAR x VIVID OPENING

Okay, real talk.

Vivid Festival starts in a very small number of days and the opening night is always the best time to catch all the installations before your social media feeds do all the hard work for you.

Just quickly on that, isn’t it odd how once you see one photo of an installation, no one seems to take a photo from a different angle? Wouldn’t it be awesome if you were that trendsetter this year? Make this your Vivid. Get in there first and blow minds.

I got lost. I’m back.

The first night of Vivid is crazy busy. It’s the last Friday of May, it’s chilly, prime date night adventure time/post work activities with the team etc.

Though we have a little something special for those in the QT know.

A little something that will only add an exclusive layer to the first night of Vivid.

You’ve heard of the Museum of Contemporary Art, right? That’s the big building on the left side of the quay… it looks over towards the Sydney Opera House and takes in the harbour… Well atop of that very building is a bar. It’s known as the MCA ARTBAR and on the last Friday of every month, they have a wicked party, with a host of awesome DJs.

So that party is 100% sold out, given that it’s also the first night of Vivid it’s easy to see why. The views across the quay as the sails on the Opera House are lit up are a sight to see.

Though here’s the thing, we have a very, very limited number of tickets to the MCA ARTBAR for this Friday!

All you need to do is book a night with us at QT Sydney and we’ll sort you out with two tickets, two drinks at the bar and breakfast in Gowings Bar & Grill on Saturday morning to help you kick-start your weekend.
