Laneway Festival Drops a Sneak at the Lineup

Aug 21, 2017  ·  2 min read

It’s only the start of the bloody week and still 160ish days until the gates open on the 2018 Sydney edition of St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival, yet we can’t hide our damn excitement.

By now you’ll be stoked on the news that was released by nonother than the Mac himself, Mr Mac DeMacro. Below, in this very high-quality production from the Demarco team, that he’s been announced to be headlining the Summer festival that takes over the cities of Singapore, New Zealand and Australia in late January/early February.

The man is a damn poet.

The cultured peeps over at Laneway Festival didn’t stop there with the announcements. They also dropped the totally funked up news that Anderson. Paak and The Free Nationals will be gracing the tour from start to finish.

With just two of the 50+ acts TBC’d, this year is already worth jumping on the pre-sale… Oh Pre-Sale. That’s the other thing.

Head over to VISA checkout (HERE) to register and come Wednesday, August 23 you’ll be able to nab a handful of pre-sale tickets before they no doubt sell out… in minutes.

If you’re more into knowing exactly who you’ll see on the Laneway bill, hold tight for September 12 when the full lineup will be delivered to your social feeds sometime around 8-9am. As avid fans of the festival, I’m almost sure that we’ll be all over this as well.

Now depending on where you’re at around the world, peep the dates and venues below:

Saturday 27 January – Singapore – TBA
Monday 29 January – Auckland – Albert Park Precinct
Friday 2 February – Adelaide – Hart Art’s Mill, Port Adelaide
Saturday 3 February – Melbourne – Footscray
Sunday 4 February – Sydney – SCA, Rozelle
Saturday 10 February – Brisbane – Brisbane Showgrounds, Bowen Hills
Sunday 11 February – Fremantle – Esplande Reserve and West End
