A humbling award for QT Sydney

We are pretty chuffed to have been named the best hotel on Australia’s east coast and ranked number two overall in Australia and New Zealand in the 2017 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards.

We are not ones to brag, but we do want to share in this wonderful feat with our loyal followers and thank all those who cast their vote.

More than 300,000 readers submitted millions of ratings and tens of thousands of comments, sharing their recent travel experiences of the world’s cities, islands, hotels, resorts, cruise liners, airlines, and airports – good and bad – so you can imagine our delight to be recognised as number two in Australia and New Zealand for our world-class hospitality, leading the field in our beloved home city.

We know our competition in Sydney is strong – we are a cosmopolitan city that draws hordes of travellers each year.

The city teems with dozens of wow-worthy places to bunker down and we take our hats off to all our friends out there kicking goals and doing an amazing job.

We want to take this opportunity to say well done to all and great work to the beautiful COMO The Treasury in Perth for taking out the number one gong.
