4 New Very-spendable Sydney Shops

There’s always incredible new things popping up all over the city. Whether focussed on fashion, furniture, eats or drinks; shops come and go with the tide and only the best stay. We’ve scoured the map for what’s hot and new in retail for all you shopping fiends. From one of the globe’s most high-end fashion houses to an eclectic antique store, here are 4 new Sydney shops to spend all your money at.

Jardan

Highly acclaimed Australian furniture house, Jardan, have opened their flagship Sydney store on Oxford Street, Paddington – and it’s a real beauty. A family business, Jardan has been designing and making furniture since 1987 using local materials and suppliers.

Their first Sydney store was designed by IF Architecture and inspired by the work of our country’s most influential creative families, with a colour palette derived from the tastes and styles of iconic Sydney creatives.

Celine

Westfield’s latest powerhouse draw-card brand, the French-founded Celine has opened its designer doors in Sydney. And it’s actually the first store in Sydney since launching in Melbourne last year. Located on Level 4, the understated design, with concrete floors and contemporary marble fixtures, encapsulates the label’s signature style.

They launched with their autumn/winter ready-to-wear 2017 collection, showcasing the brand’s full range of ready-to-wear pieces straight off the runway, alongside an array of leather goods, shoes and accessories. Oooh la la!

Acne Studios

Fashion-focussed design lovers rejoice. There’s a brand-new city-based Acne Studios in King Street, showcasing a huge collection of the brand’s signature minimalist apparel. The King Street store is choc-a-black full of the label’s latest releases with some additional seasonal items thrown in.

The Vault

Originally an online-only store, the creative duo behind antiques bolthole, The Vault, decided to open a bricks and mortar shop in quaint Rosebery. The Vault is a platform designed to share the owners’ passion for antiques and design. Sourcing beautiful, unique and affordable furniture, objects and art. They search far and wide for the most interesting pieces, whether vintage, current or antique.
