Melbourne Zoo Twilight Series 2017

Oct 21, 2016  ·  3 min read

It must be that time of year where the weather gets ridiculously warm. Christmas is on the horizon, closely followed by the celebration of another 365 days. After the dust settles on that, we then get to watch a string of tennis stars acclimatise to the heat while on the court.

It sure is the best time of year, though isn’t it?

To tease you, even more, Melbourne Zoo Twilight have just released a stellar lineup of national and international acts, rivalling that of any summer festival.

With a distinct throwback vibe around it all, you can catch The Living End playing a stripped back set with the backing of a string quartet, crowd favourites the Hoodoo Gurus and late 90’s rockers Killing Heidi with Ella Hooper at the helm.

Kicking off on January 27, the series will be taking over the enclosure for the after hour concert on Friday and Saturday nights, concluding on March 11.

A special Wednesday night performance will see Canadian duo Tegan and Sara take to the stage for a one-off and not-to-miss gig.

All proceeds from the series are going back to Zoo’s Victoria to help save the Eastern Barred Bandicoot.

Tickets go on sale October 25 and yu can pick those up from HERE.
Highly recommend grabbing those ASAP, they won’t be around for long.
