The Arts Centre on the Gold Coast is about to host something truly amazing. Fresh from a world-wind tour through Europe and America, Circa is set to arrive here on our golden shores with their latest instalment – Wunderkammer!

Wunderkammer means chamber of wonders and Circa’s show wows audiences with an intoxicating brew of circus laced with burlesque, wit and astonishing skills.

In this exquisite cabaret of the senses, seven performers of unbelievable ability bend the very fabric of reality. Sexy, funny and explosive, Wunderkammer is a breathless cocktail of new circus, cabaret and vaudeville. Control and abandon, skill and humour, lyricism and anarchy all meld into a sinuous fugue of profound beauty.

And, truth be told, we’re all down for a decent perv session at what can only be considered some of the world’s most admirable physiques. But of course that is crass and we would never openly admit to such a thing because…art…but we will definitely think it!

Company behind the performance, Circa, is world-renowned for creating startling new ways to experience the traditional circus. The company has toured 24 countries across five continents. Circa’s work has been rapturously received by audiences, presenters and critics around the world. Critics have raved about Circa calling the work ‘stunning… exquisite… heart-stopping’ and ‘electrically charged’.
