Move over Aperol Spritz, the Rosé revival has arrived!
Strolling through my local Bottle Shop, I turned into the pink wine aisle and was met by a scene of pillage and plunder. It was if a mob of thirsty shoppers in a Rosé rage had descended on the store, buying bottles faster than staff could restock. My suspicions of a Rosé revival were later confirmed when scrolling through Instagram…the snap-worthy pink wine is everywhere!
So, bust out your Rosé coloured glasses folks, here’s how to get your pink fix in style:
Frozen – Frosé
Blend 30ml Tanqueray No. TEN, 20ml agave nectar, 90ml rosé and 100ml good quality coconut water well with ice. Pour into a wine glass and serve with your choice of flourishing’s – flowers, colourful straws, cocktail umbrellas. Summer Punch – Rosé Sangria
Combine 750ml bottle chilled Rosé wine, ¼ cup brandy and 2 tablespoons each raspberry liqueur and superfine caster sugar in a large jug; stir until dissolves. Add 250g each raspberries and quartered strawberries. Refrigerate for an hour then add 2 cups chilled soda water and fresh mint before serving.
