Gold Coast Grooves with DJ Codio

At QT Gold Coast, we sure do love smooth Sunday session tunes, upbeat TGIF beats and remixed flashbacks to good old favourites. This is why we chose DJ Codio, a legend behind the decks, to get the party started!

Codio is a DJ/Producer who boasts countless residencies everywhere from Europe to Australia and has songs signed to Sony disco:wax, Creative Co. and LNG Music. He has been featured on some of Spotify’s biggest playlists for his deep and tropical original music. He sets the mood for our new Sunset Sessions by Aperol on Saturdays to help get you into your weekend groove. Hear what all the fuss is about and check out Codio’s music on Spotify.

With dozens of Australian DJ residencies to his name, Codio is one of the only remaining original vinyl DJs from the Gold Coast’s glory days. Currently residing at Stingray Lounge at QT Gold Coast, Codio incorporates decks with electronic percussion and live drums, and focuses on everything from deep house to hip hop and pop.

Having recently returned from gigs abroad in Italy, Codio is a seasoned performer at clubs and festivals throughout Europe, USA and England. He’s also known for producing tunes alongside Gold Coast live music icons Dean Gray, Taisha Tari and The Hanlon Brothers.
