Set to attract more than 27,000 participants of all ages and abilities the 39th annual Gold Coast Marathon will once again descend on the Gold Coast Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 July 2017.

From the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre in Southport right down to Burleigh Heads (and back!), the Gold Coast Airport Marathon is Australia’s premier road race and was the first marathon in the country to hold an official International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) Road Race Gold Label.

Whether you’re doing the 5.7km challenge, 10km run, half marathon or full 42km marathon QT Gold Coast is here to ensure you’re in tip-top shape for the big race!

REFUEL
Fuel your body with the vital nutrients it needs for the big race at Bazaar Marketplace Restaurant. Voted Australian Gourmet Travellers Best Buffet Breakfast, Bazaar offers everything from fresh fruit, granola and yoghurt jars, super food station, Omelettes made to order, house-made potato rösti, crispy bacon and much more!
Breakfast 5am – 11.30am Saturday and 5am – 10.30am Sunday.

ENERGISE
Energise on the go with a smoothie made to order at FIXX Cafe’s Super Food Smoothie Bar. Choose from Spinach, Kale, Wheatgrass, Beetroot and Ginger paired with all your favourite fruits PLUS a selection of boosters including Protein Powder, Macca Powder or Cacao.
Protein Balls also available.
Available from 6am – 3pm Saturday and Sunday.

REVITALISE
Hit spaQ’s Hammam inspired steam room for pre or post Marathon therapy. Combining the benefits of crushed ice and soothing hot steam, this is the perfect place to comfort tired muscles and joints, improve circulation and re-energise your system.

RECOVERY
When the race is over it’s time to celebrate! Grab the squad and head to Bazaar Marketplace Restaurant for an epic lunch! Trawler-fresh seafood, vibrant salads, charcuterie, slow-roasted meats, wood-fired pizza, Asian wok and dumpling station and the most expansive spread of sweet treats on the Coast.
Available for Sunday Lunch from 12noon – 3pm.
