Ahhh – sweet, sweet holidays…Isn’t the best thing about going on holiday the eating and drinking? Of course it is!

Whether you’re staying local and catching up with friends or travelling abroad to immerse yourself in the local delicacies, the way to our holiday hearts is through food and drink.

It’s the sharing factor. The social element. The talking point. The local culture. And it’s often one of the most memorable experiences of your vacay.

So, to celebrate the season of gluttony, QT Gold Coast has created the ultimate “foodie” escape just for you – The Tastes of QT

Now that's how you do Tepanyaki! Chop chop…yum, yum! #qtgoldcoast #qtlife #japanese #tepanyaki #yamagen

Renowned for its exceptional restaurants and bars, QT Gold Coast has continued to surprise and delight guests with its ability to create innovative, inspiring, and localised dining experiences which showcase the best of South East Queensland.

In fact, as well as their lip-smacking and finger-licking effects, QT Gold Coast dishes out some of the most Instagramable food and drink on the Coast (check out @qtgoldcoast).

Priced from $325 per night, the Tastes of QT package includes everything you need for two whole nights of foodie heaven.

Kick-start your culinary journey with cocktails at the uber-cool Stingray Lounge Bar. Our faves include the Skinny Pash – a refreshing blend of Eristoff vodka, passionfruit pulp, Aperol, pineapple and Agave, topped off with a passionfruit wedge. Or for a real conversation starter, try the City of God – a mixture of pineapple and cinnamon cachaca, sugar and fresh limes, finished with a pineapple wedge and smoking cinnamon quill.

Once you’ve whet your appetite, head over to Japanese Restaurant, Yamagen, for a theatrical dinner at the Teppan. The following morning you can refuel at Bazaar’s award-winning Marketplace before sampling the creative and curious QTea High Tea –complete with a tour of QT’s very own kitchen garden.

Local Tip: If you happen to stay over a weekend, be sure to check out the local Farmers Markets at Marina Mirage every Saturday morning featuring a range of fresh Gold Coast farmed products.
