QT Gold Coast’s newest dining destination, Yamagen, is set to celebrate it’s first New Year’s Eve with a BANG!

The once classic Japanese eating house was dramatically transformed in August 2017 to reveal an edgy new izakaya style restaurant complete with not only an inspiring new décor and funked up bar thanks to internationally renowned designer, Nic Graham, but a wholly invigorated menu under the stewardship of new Executive Chef, Adam Lane.

When it comes to a New Year’s Eve tipple you’re in safe hands with Yamagen’s talented bartenders. They will be melding classic cocktails with modern Japanese inspiration, using unique Japanese ingredients such as sudachi (Japanese citrus fruit), gyokuro (shaded green tea), yuzu bitters (citrus), shiso leaf (Japanese style mint), matcha (ground green tea) and Sake.

You can also sample Queensland’s (if not Australia’s) most extensive collection of Japanese Whisky with 85+ Japanese Whiskies including Yamazaki 25 Y.O., Hibiki 30 Y.O. and Hakushu 25 Y.O. on offer. And to take your New Year’s Eve experience to the next level, all Japanese Whisky libations are served with house-made and hand-chiseled ice blocks ensuring premium purity and a slower melt time.
