QT Gold Coast and Yamagen Japanese is excited to launch a new dining concept, I-Yama-Vegan, in celebration of World Vegan Month. Yamagen is here to divulge the non-believers in the gastronomic taste and mouth-watering flavor of Vegan dishes for the month of November.

Forget the boring single dish side salad, and think of a 6 course sensory journey through the flavours of Japan. At Yamagen, veggies are treated with the same, if not higher, level of creativity and delicacy as the animal proteins.

So don’t expect a thrown together tofu salad, think bigger. Leave all the judgements at the door, as the simplest sounding dishes can often be the most mouth-watering.

Now, this may sound like a lot. But, in true Yamagen style – there’s more. I-Yama-Vegan has will also include a seriously bold vegan cocktail list to-die-for. The curated vegan wine, cocktail and sake menu is courtesy of the sommelier who goes beyond the expected.

Indulge on this 6 course vegan Omakase for $55 per person. It is designed to share with your partner in crime or if you’re a solo foodie, don’t worry we got you.

 

The Vegan Omakase Includes:

Salted Edamame

Soft Taco, tofu, king brown mushroom, charred corn tomato and edamame salsa

Nasu Miso, warm eggplant, barley miso, white sesame and ao nori

House salad, avocado, green oak, nashi, wakame, radish, sesame dressing

King brown mushroom, truffled hanna

Tempura Brussel sprouts, truffled white soy, amazu and shichimi

Agedashi tofu, organic local silken tofu, bonito, shiitake broth

Avocado & Sesame maki roll

Cucumber & Shiso maki roll

Minimum 2 guests for the Omakase experience, as it is designed to share.
