Dogs or cats? Where do you sit?

It can really split a group. You might find yourself as a lover of the feline fluff. There’s something about their independence that can be seen as cute.

Though personally, I’m a dog lover. A dog lover that is currently between dogs and has been for about 14 since my childhood pup passed away.

It was a tough time, but that was the defining moment where I fell in love with everything that a dog represents.

Equally, we had two cats back then as well; I also had allergies to their fine fur. Maybe that was more the defining fact.

That was me connecting with you, bringing you into this piece with a dash of background as to why the Top Dog Film Festival gets me excited beyond compare.

Yeeeah, that’s right. Canberra is about to host the Top Dog Film Festival that is currently traversing around the nation, showcasing how darn incredible that human love is for dogs and vice versa.

On August 25, over at the National Film & Sound Archives, there will be 2 sweet hours of puppy dog propaganda that will melt your heart.

From stories of friendship to tales of tragedy, our best friends are there for us with a wagging tale no matter the time of day.

The night will comprise of 8 short stories from around the world, all telling an incredible story about your favourite four legged friends. Don’t take my word for it, check out the banging trailer below:
