QT Celebrates Good Food Month

Mar 13, 2018  ·  2 min read

After months of anticipation, Citi’s inaugural Good Food Month has officially hit Canberra!

Take your palette on a journey this March, when the crème de la crème of Canberra’s foodie venues come together to celebrate some seriously good bites. From International chefs to home-grown talent, this month-long event is guaranteed to set your passion for good food alight.

As Friends of Good Food Month, QT Canberra will be hosting a one of a kind opportunity to experience the world’s best Caviar with none other than globally renowned caviar ambassador Lisa Downs. Lisa’s extensive expertise and ongoing education has allowed her to represent Australian fisherman and seafood producers at the Sydney Fish Markets, and bring an amazing understanding of the world of caviar.

Set amongst the luxurious surrounds of the QT Lounge, you will be transported through the history of three of the world’s most famous caviar varieties; Siberian Oscietra, Russian Oscietra, and Iranian Beluga. It’s a chance to share why it is so loved, what the caviar market is like today, how it is sustainably sourced, what creates demand and how to taste it.

Once you have had a chance to take it all in, you will be lead through a variety of courses where you will have the opportunity to sample the world famous varieties for yourself. Paired with a glass of bubbles, it’s the perfect way to bring a close to the working week, and is best served with good company.
