Calling all artists, designers & movers and shakers. Are you waiting for the perfect opportunity to unleash your visual masterpiece to the world? Well, your big break might be closer than you think.

We’re no strangers to the fact that Canberra is bursting at the seams with talented artists, designers, and shakers as of late; and in true QT style, we recognise art, design and talent when we see it.

In a bold new initiative, QT Canberra is blazing the capital’s thriving art scene with Your art. Our halls.

We are thrilled to announce that each month, we will be opening up our lobby space to promising local talent, giving artists the unique opportunity to showcase their work in style. Be it paint on canvas, print, decal, photography, sculpture, drawing and textiles – we want you.

“QT Canberra want to challenge the creative community to be a part of our storytelling,” says Shannon Craig, QT Canberra General Manager. “For us it’s a chance to encapsulate local spirit on our walls, we want our guests to explore and admire the uniqueness of each work of art.”

To sweeten the deal, the lucky winner will also score a half hour drinks and canapes reception for the exhibition opening night.

Entry into the ‘Your Art. Our Halls’ initiative is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years and over, and will be running from 31 August 2018 until 30 June 2019.

Once you have submitted your artwork through the online portal, our expert judging panel will choose a successful submission, and voila! Your artwork will be on display in our lobby for an entire month.
