Bondi Beach is filled with endless café’s, restaurants and bars but as someone without little grommies running around I had never thought about how hard it must be to enjoy the ins and outs of Bondi with a tiny sidekick or two! So whether you’re here on vacation or just lucky enough to be a local, here are some great kid friendly places to eat & play right at your doorstep.

Bondi Trattoria
Known as The Tratt by the locals. This is the no.1 restaurant mentioned when asking around about child-friendly venues in Bondi. Their kid’s menu is as big as the adult’s menu and filled with delicious and affordable food for your little ones to enjoy. Brekky is a nutritious menu filled with everything from the ‘Little hipsters banana & quinoa porridge w honey & vanilla’ to the ‘future champions poached eggs’. The dinner menu has a massive range of all of your Italian favourites – Pizza, Pasta, Schnitzels… and to top it all off, an awesome gelato menu for dessert!

Shuk, North Bondi
As a person that used to live just down the road from Shuk let me just say it was one of my favourite cafés in Bondi. The food is awesome! Speaking without experience here, of course – I would imagine if you were a mummy your food would taste a whole lot better without a tiny person pulling your leg whining that they are bored? Right? That’s where Shuk have been very smart – out in their cute little courtyard is a fully fenced play area for the kids to go as cray cray as they like while you hoe into your Teff Pancake with sweet dukkah, maple syrup & banana and sip on your almond milk latte!

Bondi Bowling Club
No better place to go for a few cheeky arvo bevvies while the kids have a quick bite to eat off the awesome $8.00 kids menu and spend hours tiring themselves out with all the space they have to run around in. The Club is completely fenced in by the tennis courts and bowling greens so no worries about the kiddies going walkabout!
