Lets Go Surfing this Spring

It’s simple really. There are two people in the world. Just two. There are those that surf and those that do not surf.

Those that do surf do it for all manner of reasons. From fitness to friendship, or just to chase that feeling of getting so damn pitted behind a wave.

You only need to look at the World Surf League and the champions on tour to find your own piece of stoke. From Filipe Toledo to our own Mick Fanning, Tyler Wright or Steph Gilmore, watching these absolute legends shred waves all over this blue planet can drive an individual to the waters edge, board in hand.

Though if you’re B in the two people category from above, you might want to take in a couple lessons before you start hunting for barrels out in the lineup. This calls for some help from our professional friends over at Lets Go Surfing in Bondi. These surf nuts have been cutting up the north end of Bondi Beach since 1998 when they ran surf clinics out the back of an old VW Kombi.

As the years have rolled by the team has grown into themselves somewhat with a fully stocked HQ located at the northern end of the beach and lay claim to some of the finest teachers.

If you’ve never touched a board or feeling a little rusty, the Lets Go Surfing cats will have you up and about shredding in no time. They’ll set you up with a soft board and a blue rash vest, so not to lose you. You can book one-off sessions or sign up to a six-week program that’ll have you feeling fit and healthy as you tackle the oncoming sets.

If you’re coming from out of town and wanting to spend a weekend with QT Bondi, in total bliss, while learning to hack into the top pocket like Mick, we’ve teamed up with the Lets Go Surfing team to offer you just that. Bondi Surfin’ Safari sets you up for a two-night stay with QT Bondi, a private surf lesson for you and the family, photography from your session and a daily surf report. Check out all the details HERE.
