SummerSalt 2017: Bondi Lineup

There is much to do down at Bondi in the coming months.

From learning to surf with the Lets Go Surfing family to catching a healthy dose of vitamin D before or after the midday crush on the sandy shores. You can spend your summer days sat on the Northern knoll with some of the true blue Bondi creatives or take turns in buying rounds of Corona at The Bucket List.

This place is full of pre-summer season activity and we bloody love it.

Though this November there’s a little something happening that you might want to organise tickets to ASAP, to avoid that dreaded FOMO.

Welcome to the SummerSalt Music Festival, a new concert experience travelling all over coastal towns across the nation.

It’s not a new concept, though SummerSalt is working with local artists and artisans to bring a uniquely local feel to each place. For example, the market and food stall experience will have a distinct Bondi Markets feel to it while the two local acts are still yet to be announced.

Oh and on that, the lineup is straight from the mid-2000’s with two rather big names coming together to bring the party to Bondi:

The Cat Empire

The boys are back on a little tour with some of the genre-bending funk, soul and hip-hop fusion that you know and love. The Empire have also known how to throw a party and have only really matured that same ethos as the years have slipped by. The team will be bringing the horns to the beach along with all that hype that you’ve been missing out on.
