Who likes the sound of hot men in budgie smugglers drowning each other in Bondi’s most iconic pool while you sip on a cocktail and watch it all unfold in front of the best backdrop Bondi’s got to offer? Yep… SOLD (to pretty much every girl in Sydney)
Water Polo by the Sea is now in its sixth year of running and has become one of Bondi’s favourite sporting events as well as one of Bondi’s favourite social gatherings.
Our Aussie Sharks will be taking on the International All-Stars in a star-studded game. Some of the impressive international players include Olympic Gold medallists Dusko Pijetlovic, Filip Filipovic, Spanish Captain Guillermo Molina and former Wold Champ Maurizio Felugo.
Say goodbye to sitting in a packed stadium, waiting 20 minutes in the bar line only to get to the front and receive cheap wine in plastic cups or a tray of filthy Carlton Draughts with more head than actual beer.
Water Polo by the Sea is bringing a bit of glamour into sports – choose from a number of different package options that will be sure to please of all your senses.
Starting at $135 per ticket is the Peroni Bar which includes two hours of Beer, Wine & Canapes. Then stepping it up a notch to the Icebergs Dining and Bar Balcony Tickets priced at $180 – this includes their Famous Regional Italian menu, Aperol Spritz on arrival and exclusive access to the top level balcony for the best view in the house.
If you really want to go all out the VIP Birdcage package is where it’s at. For $225 you will be able to escape the heat with access to the Aspen winter Bar while indulging in Contrabando’s famous Latino street food and sipping on bottomless Champagne, Nexba infused cocktails and Peroni.
The best part about it is that any ticket you choose to purchase will give you access to the after party at Ravesis, which I have heard gets all kinds of silly!
