Ohh yeah, it’s that time again. Yep, that glorious part of the year where we can sit back, relax and enjoy three long weekends in a row. It’s a time to step back from the race and reflect on the life of one of the most treasured figures, the Easter Bunny, and give thanks for his eternal offering… Chocolate.

Oh, what a time it is! Kids are happy, parents are happy, who isn’t happy with holidays and chocolate?

Here’s a couple of winning programs to keep everyone entertained throughout your Easter in Bondi:

The Royal Sydney Easter Show
Run over two weeks, this historic Easter holiday tradition has served as the perfect family day out since 1823. It’s the historic celebration of Australian culture, where ‘city meets country’ and the rural traditions join our modern day lifestyles to deliver a unique experience for every visitor.

An agricultural show, amusement park and carnival all rolled into one – the Easter show has something for everyone. There’s games, rides, arts & crafts, dog & cat shows, flying pigs, men chopping wood and plenty of food… and all that before you get to the show bags!

The Great Centennial Park Egg Hunt
A little closer to home, this one is perfect for the kids. Returning this long weekend for its fifth year is Sydney’s largest and most popular Easter Egg Hunt. When I was a kid, I was stoked with my back yard… with the pristine Centennial Parklands as a playground; these kids will be absolutely frothing!
Grab a trail map and get the groms running around in one of Sydney’s most beautiful parks in search of delicious chocolate treats. There will be all sorts of egg-citing (sorry) activities for the kids as they follow the clues, complete the challenges, find plenty of choc and get up close and personal with the Easter Bunny and Bilby at the end of the course.

Bondi Westfield Egg Hunt
Now here’s one for those whose perfect Easter holiday is made up of a little bit of retail therapy. From Saturday 8^th till the 15th of April, join in on the Easter Egg hunt at Westfield Bondi Junction. Pop into the Concierge desk, grab an Easter list and make your way around the stores to find all the hidden items, and maybe some not so hidden gems on the rack while you’re at it. Lindt Chocolate and shopping… a match made in heaven.
